King Salman will deliver on Wednesday, Nov. 11, his annual speech to the Shura Council, which will shed light on the Kingdom’s national and foreign policies.

The speech will be delivered online at the opening of the first year of the council’s eighth session.

King Salman’s speech represents a road map for the council members that will enable them to take prudent opinions, and helps boost the performance of the government entities, in addition to developing as well as upgrading systems, stated Abdullah Al-Asheikh, Chairman of the Saudi Shoura Council.

King Salman’s speech also represents a business plan for the state-owned entities, guiding them as regards the Kingdom’s vision locally and overseas, he added.

“The speech timing is critical given King Salman’s leading and influential position regionally and internationally, in addition to the Kingdom’s pivotal role on the global level as Saudi Arabia assumed the G20 presidency as of Dec. 1, 2019,” Al-Asheikh indicated.
