Saudi Arabia records 290 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 290 COVID-19 cases today, Nov. 18, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 354,208, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Accordingly, the Kingdom recorded cases of less than 300 the first time since March 2020.

 

Recoveries reached 411, raising the total number of recovered cases to 341,515 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 18 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 5,710.

 

Active cases totaled 6,983, of which 808 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom concluded 56,691 new tests, bringing up the total number of laboratory tests to 9.05 million.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 63, followed by Madinah (29), Hail (24), Jeddah (13) and Makkah (12).
