Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resource and Social Development will provide all electronic services via Qiwa platform as of Jan. 1, 2021, Al Watan newspaper reported.
Qiwa electronic platform managed to cover 80% of the employers’ requirements over the previous period, in addition to offering new options to improve retail as well as corporate clients’ experience.
In April 2019, the ministry launched the Qiwa platform, which aims to promote digital transformation and improve transparency, Argaam reported.
The platform offers several services including visa issuance, labor policies, Saudization certificates, work permits issuance and renewal, worker transfer, nationalization plans, and e-advisors.
