Saudi Arabia recorded 190 COVID-19 cases today, Dec. 5, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 358,526, the Ministry of Health stated.
Accordingly, the new cases have become less than 200 for the first time since April 2020.
Recoveries reached 324, raising the total number of recovered cases to 348,562 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).
Active cases totaled 4,010, of which 603 cases are critical.
The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 5,954.
Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 64, followed by Makkah (36), Madinah (31), Eastern Province (18) and Al Qassim (9).
