TADCO, Al-Jouf Agricultural approved as Seed Producers Committee members for 5 years

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture approved Tabuk Agricultural Development Co. (TADCO) and Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co. as members of the Seed Producers Committee for the new five-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2021.

The announcement was part of the activities of the World Soil Day 2020, held on Dec. 5, 2020, under the patronage of Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley, and in the presence of Undersecretary for Agriculture Ahmed S. AlEyadah, the two firms said in separate statements.

The Seed Producers Committee is the only official committee approved in Saudi Arabia for the production of wheat seeds, and the seeds are produced and distributed to farmers under the supervision of the Ministry and according to international standards.
