Ministry of Industry licenses 77 new factories worth SAR 2.15 bln in November

A total of 77 new factories were licensed in November 2020, with total investments reaching SAR 2.15 billion, recent data issued by Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources showed.

 

The total number of factories that began actual production reached 151.

 

The total number of existing and under-construction factories hit 9,630 across the Kingdom in November, compared to 9,563 in October 2020.

 

According to the ministry data, the number of Saudi workers in the industrial sector rose by 1,114 in November, while the number of expat workers increased by 1,327.
