Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said that 2021 budget will focus on the healthcare of nationals and residents, and combat COVID-19 challenges.
He added that 2020 was challengeable for the whole world, noting that 2021 budget gives priority to the healthcare of nationals and residents and reflects efforts to alleviate the pandemic's negative impacts on the national economy.
The Kingdom will continue with its strong economic growth and comprehensive development plan, King Salman said, adding that Saudi Arabia is part of the world - impacting and being impacted by the global conditions - including COVID-19 that had negative impact at the financial and economic levels.
"We will actively implement the programs and projects of the budget," King Salman said.
He confirmed that the Kingdom is going ahead with achieving the goals of Vision 2030, boosting government expenditures, paying great attention to the social protection, and combating corruption.
