COVID-19 crisis relief starts today on vaccination process launch: Health Minister

“Today is the beginning of the crisis breakthrough,” Minister of Health, Tawfig Al-Rabiah, said, thanking the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman for their concern for the health of citizens and residents.

 

He added that the launch of the vaccination process was carried out with direct and close follow-up from the Crown Prince.

 

Al-Rabiah confirmed that the vaccine is safe, and vaccination centers will open in all regions across Saudi Arabia.

 

Saudi Arabia began on Thursday, Dec. 17, the campaign with the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.

 

Earlier today, two citizens (a man and a woman) and one resident received the first dose of the vaccine.

 

Al-Rabiah received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
