Saudi Arabia records 181 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 181 COVID-19 cases today, Dec. 22, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 361,359, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 160, raising the total number of recovered cases to 352,249 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported eight new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,139.

 

Active cases totaled 2,971, of which 404 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 64, followed by Makkah (36), Eastern Province (31), Madinah (12) and Qassim with 11.

 

The Kingdom conducted 39,610 new tests, bringing up the total number of coronavirus tests to 10.7 million.
