Saudi Arabia records 149 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 149 COVID-19 cases today, Dec. 29, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 362,488, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 159, raising the total number of recovered cases to 353,512 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 2,772, of which 401 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported eight new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,204.

 

A total of 34,677 new laboratory tests were performed, bringing the total number of tests conducted in the Kingdom to 10.94 million.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 46, followed by Makkah (31), Eastern Province (21), and then Asir and Madinah (10).
