The Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) said that the launch of digital economy policy supports the Kingdom’s efforts to create attractive and promising digital investment opportunities.

 

It also aims to make a qualitative shift to help achieve the Kingdom’s ambitions.

 

The digital economy policy is an important move to achieve Saudi Arabia’s ambitions and reach sustainable and diversified economic growth that enhances innovation and entrepreneurship of digital works.

 

The digital economy principles include a smart digital structure, support for start-up technology applications, bracing for future jobs, support for innovation, spread of the digital culture, woman empowerment, and creating a reliable, safe digital environment as well as an attractive competitive investment climate, the ministry added.
