Saudi Arabia records 118 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 118 COVID-19 cases today, Jan. 6, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 363,377, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 144, raising the total number of recovered cases to 354,899 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported seven new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,272.

 

Active cases totaled 2,206, of which 351 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 43, followed by Makkah (38), Eastern Province (14), Asir (7) and Madinah with four.

 

The Kingdom conducted 39,795 new laboratory tests, increasing the total number of COVID-19 tests to 11.21 million.
