Amiantit to compensate rights issue owners for unsubscribed shares

Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. announced, in a bourse filing, a total of SAR 16.12 million will be distributed as compensation to rights issue owners who did not exercise their rights to subscribe to the new shares.

 

The amount will be deposited in the bank accounts of eligible investors within a week from Jan. 7, 2021.

 

On Dec. 20, 2020, Amiantit announced the results of rights issue trading, noting that more than 10.6 million shares were subscribed, valued at SAR 106.23 million, from the offer of 12 million new shares, according to data compiled by Argaam.
