Crown Prince launches THE LINE project in NEOM

Saudi Crown Prince and board chairman of NEOM, Mohammed bin Salman, unveiled THE LINE project within NEOM, a city of million residents, spanning across 170 kilometers, that preserves 95% of nature within the mega project.  

 

The new city will contribute to fulfilling daily needs of residents within a maximum of five minutes of walking. People will also be able to complete end-to-end journey in only 20 minutes. 

 

THE LINE was built with 30% less infrastructure costs, 30% high-quality products and 100% renewable energy. The new project is devoid of streets and cars, with zero carbon emission.  

 

“We need to renew the concept of existing cities into futuristic cities,” Crown Prince commented on the new launch. 

 

“THE LINE is a revolution in urban living that gives priority to man and his details,” he further added.
