Non-founding foreign investments rise to 1.86% last week

Non-founding foreign investors – namely swap holders, residents and qualified foreign investors (QFIs) – increased their ownership in the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) to 1.86% in the week ending Jan. 7, 2021 – the highest in more than a year since Saudi Aramco’s listing - compared to 1.85% in the week before, on net purchases of SAR 203.7 million, market data showed.

 

 

GCC investors' ownership in the Saudi market for the week remained unchanged at 0.50%, compared to the week before.

 

 

Foreign investors’ ownership, including strategic partners, saw a 0.01% rise week-on-week to 2.30%.

 

 

Founding foreign investors accounted for 0.44% of the total foreign ownership in the Saudi market for the week ending Jan. 7, 2021.
