Saudi education ministry to continue distance learning in second semester

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Education announced on Jan. 13, 2021, that students in all levels of public, university, and technical education will continue to pursue studies through remote learning for the second semester of the academic year in line with the set previous mechanism.

 

The ministry’s decision came in line with a royal decree in this regard.

 

The ministry indicated that theoretical courses for universities and Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) institutes will be conducted remotely, while university science practical and TVTC training courses will be held physically.

 

The distance learning classes for the intermediate and secondary phases of school education will start from 9 am, while the remote classes for the elementary level will begin from 3 pm.
