Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef, affirmed the strong focus by the leadership on supporting the Kingdom’s economic diversification, boosting non-oil revenues and expanding the economic base, through depending on industry as a key strategic option.

 

The industrial sector offers qualitative investment opportunities in many activities, including the empowering women to invest in this sector, the minister was cited by state-run SPA as saying.

 

He also highlighted that the industrial sector provides promising opportunities for men and women, adding that over 39,000 opportunities with 37% localization were provided last year.

 

This came during the minister's speech at an honoring ceremony of sponsors of the Industry Women Conference, organized by the Saudi Commission for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON).
