Saudis employed in ride-hailing firms earned over SAR 6 bln, says minister

Saleh Al-Jasser, Saudi Minister of Transport and Chairman of the Public Transport Authority (PTA), said that more than 800,000 Saudis are registered in ride-hailing applications, including 4,200 females.

 

Full-time employees in ride-hailing companies reached 10,000, while all Saudis employed in this field earned over SAR 6 billion, Al-Jasser told Al-Arabiya TV.

 

Moreover, the number of trips exceeded 300 million over the last three years, he added.
