Saudi Arabia records 226 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 226 COVID-19 cases today, Jan. 19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 365,325, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 156, raising the total number of recovered cases to 357,004 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 1,986, of which 327 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported six new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,335.

 

Asir reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 59, followed by Riyadh (53), Makkah (46), Eastern Province (25) and Madinah (14).
