Future Investment Initiative conference to kick off in Riyadh on Jan. 27

The Future Investment Initiative Institute announced it will host in Riyadh the Fourth Edition of FII conference, which will feature more than 140 prominent speakers on Jan. 27-28.
 

The multi-hub conference will link tech pioneers, investors and policy makers who will rethink the global economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As many as 60 prominent speakers will attend in-person in Riyadh, and other 80 people will participate virtually during the two-day investment event.
 

Speakers will address the investment conference from hubs in New York, Paris, Beijing, Mumbai. 
 

During the conference, which will be themed "The Neo-Renaissance", Governor of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Chairman of the FII Institute Yasir Al-Rumayyan will officially open the fourth edition of FII, under the leadership of the FII Institute. 
 

He will be joined by David Solomon, Chairman & CEO of  Goldman Sachs Group, Thomas Gottstein, CEO of Credit Suisse Group, Ray Dalio, Co-Chairman & CIO of Bridgewater Associates, and Marco Alvarez, CEO of Snam in considering how the global investment community can leverage the economic downturn to build a stronger, more sustainable future.
 

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Minister of Energy, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman & CEO of Total, Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Special Envoy and Group CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) will discuss strategies to guide investment into the energy sector. 
 

During the conference, Lord Gerry Grimstone, U.K.'s Minister of State for Trade, Eric Cantor, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Moelis & Co, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Group Chairman & CEO of DP World, Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, and Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt's Minister of International Cooperation, will review polices to strengthen investment and trade partnerships to reflect a new set of geopolitical realities.
 

Other participants include Princess Reema Bint Bandar Bin Sultan Al Saud, the Saudi Ambassador to the U.S., Dr. Kai Fu Lee, Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO of Sinovation Ventures, Thomas Barrack, Executive Chairman of Colony Capital, Jean Bernard Lévy, CEO of EDF, Jean Todt, President of Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, Josh Giegel, Co-Founder and CTO of Hyperloop one, Anthony Scaramucci, Founder & Managing Partner of SkyBridge Capital, and David Rubenstein, Co-Founder and Co-Executive Chairman of The Carlyle Group.
