Saudi Electricity Co.’s board of directors appointed Khaled bin Saleh Al Sultan as chairman, and Najm bin Abdullah Al-Zaid as deputy chairman, the firm said in a bourse statement.
The decision came during a board meeting held today, Jan. 21, 2021.
The company’s extraordinary general assembly meeting (EGM) held on Dec. 27, 2020, elected the board of directors for the new three-year term starting Jan. 21, 2021.
Al Sultan has held the chairman’s post since Jan. 21, 2018.
