The Future Investment Initiative (FII) summit will continue today, Jan. 28, beginning with Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, and Fahd Al-Rasheed, President of The Royal Commission for Riyadh, speaking on “The Future of Riyadh”.
The summit, which brings together more than 140 global speakers, was inaugurated yesterday by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan.
Other speakers to address the summit during the day include, among others: Kevin Rudd, Prime Minister of Australia; Khalid Abdullah Al-Hussan, CEO of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul); Laurent Fabius, former president of COP21-The Paris Agreement; Barbara Belvisi, founder and CEO of Interstellar Lab (France); and Makoto Takashima, president and CEO of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (Japan).
The summit will conclude with Richard Attias, CEO of FII Institute, sharing his views on “The Road Ahead”.
This year's edition, themed "Neo-Renaissance", covers wide-ranging topics from climate change action to artificial intelligence, global sustainable development, social architecture, and digital transformation.
The FII conference, held this year in King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center, Riyadh, has both in-person and virtual participation from speakers.
