Eastern Cement reappoints Mohammed Al-Subaie as board chairman

Eastern Province Cement Co.’s board of directors reappointed Mohammed Saad Al-Faraj Al-Subaie as chairman, and Ibrahim Salem Mohammed Al-Rowais as deputy chairman, during the ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) held Feb. 1, 2021.

 

The new appointments were for the three-year term started Jan. 29, 2021, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

Meanwhile, the board of directors decided to form a remuneration and nomination committee for the same term with Waleed Mohammed Abdullah Al-Jaafari as independent member and, Ibrahim Salem Mohammed Al-Rowais, Shaikha Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Jubair, and Ahmad Ibrahim Rashed Al-Shethri as non-executive members.

 

The board also formed an executive committee with CEO Fahad Rasheed Mohammed Al-Otaibi, Mohammed Saad Al-Faraj Al-Subaie and Waleed Mohammed Abdullah AlJafary as independent members and, Ibrahim Salem Mohammed Al-Rowais and Mohammed Wasllalah Al-Harbi as non-executive members.
