Transport minister says contractor to complete Haramain railway repairs before Hajj

Saleh Al-Jasser, Saudi Minister of Transport, said the contractor will bear the costs of repairing Haramain High-Speed Railway station in Jeddah, and will complete the repairs before the next Hajj season.

 

On his official Twitter account, the minister said: "I am pleased to see work progress, and we will continue to follow up on the project to ensure its completion with the highest safety standards."

 

He added that the trips between Makkah, Jeddah – via the Airport Train, then King Abdullah Economic City and Madinah – will start before next Ramadan, Al-Jasser noted.
