Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.
1) Bank Aljazira reported a net profit of SAR 33.8 million in 2020, a plunge of 97%, from SAR 991 million in 2019.
2) Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) announced the safe completion of the scheduled periodic turnaround maintenance activities for the ethyl acetate plant of its affiliate, Sipchem Chemical Co. (SCC).
3) Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors appointed Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Dokheel as a general manager, effective Feb. 21, 2021.
4) Yanbu National Petrochemical Co. (Yansab) restarted operations at its olefins plant on Feb. 15, 2021.
5) Brent crude on Tuesday gained 28 cents to reach $63.58 per barrel. WTI crude also increased 73 cents to reach $60.20/bbl.
