Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Education, Hamad Al-Sheikh, announced today, Feb. 22, the issuance of a high-level order to continue distance learning until the end of the academic year in general education, universities in addition to government and private technical training.
The minister said on his Twitter account that this is in accordance with the applicable regulations, and in order to ensure the safety of the staff due to COVID-19 pandemic, and after the evaluation of the situation in the past weeks.
