Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC), the Kingdom’s utility provider, developed a number of initiatives and programs to localize the electrical industries and transfer top-notch technologies to the Kingdom, Saudi Press Agency reported.

SEC said it has nearly 250 investment opportunities in the electrical industries field and about 86 opportunities in supporting services, which investors and businessmen can resettle in the Saudi market.

Additionally, SEC is providing a competitive advantage of up to 10%, to support and encourage contractors, manufacturers and suppliers, and to boost local content in the electrical industries.

This came during a seminar held by SEC, in cooperation with the Ministry of Investment and the Japanese Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME).
