Saudi Arabia will provide coronavirus vaccines at pharmacies across the Kingdom for free, Al Arabiya TV reported, citing Minister of Health, Tawfig Al-Rabiah.

A total of 885,410 vaccine doses have been disbursed since the Kingdom began the vaccination campaign, according to data available on Argaam.

Saudi Arabia’s Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) recently approved the use of AstraZeneca vaccines, in addition to those from Pfizer-BioNTech, with which the Kingdom started the vaccination campaign on Dec. 17, 2020.

The SFDA is also evaluating the use of four additional COVID-19 vaccines in its efforts to expand the vaccination campaign.
