The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) will hold a meeting today, March 4, 2021, to determine the group's oil production policy, amid mixed expectations, including an extension of the current output levels.
The OPEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee meeting held on March 3, 2021, did not provide any recommendation for April production levels, S&P Global Platts reported.
The OPEC+ is considering rolling over production cuts into April instead of raising output, as a recovery in oil demand remains fragile due to the coronavirus crisis, Reuters earlier reported, citing OPEC+ sources.
