Saudi Arabia ranks 7th on Global Entrepreneurship Index 2020

The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat) said that Saudi Arabia moved up 10 notches to the seventh rank on the Global Entrepreneurship Index 2020.

 

The index focuses on 12 factors in the entrepreneurship system, including the financial environment, the priorities of government legislations, bureaucracy and taxes.

 

It also measures higher education entrepreneurship, research and development, access to commercial infrastructure, and the local market dynamics.

 

The minister said in a tweet that the higher ranking comes amid the strong support from the Kingdom’s leadership and the efforts of all citizens.
