Saudi Cabinet amends GOSI regulations, forms new R&D committee

The Saudi Cabinet, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Al Saud, approved amending the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) regulations, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The Saudi Cabinet also approved forming a new committee, titled The Supreme Committee for Research, Development and Innovation, reporting to the Council of Economic Affairs and Development.

 

The new committee will address fields of research, development and innovation across the Kingdom, and will be headed by chairman of the Council of Economic Affairs and Development.

 

Additionally, the Cabinet approved a decision model as regards providing housing units in cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, to stand as a reference for the competent authorities.
