Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Foreign Trade said that the National Foreign Trade Strategy Project is currently under approval after completing preparation.

The strategy includes different trade fields (goods, services and e-commerce) according to applied procedures in this regard, Al-Eqtisadiah Newspaper reported.

The authority affirmed its keenness to follow a specific methodology to reach an integrated national strategy under Vision 2030, and to achieve its goals through coordination and alignment with all relevant parties from the public and private sectors.

The authority also wants to reach a comprehensive understanding of the current situation, define strategic goals, and develop a comprehensive framework for their implementation.

According to data compiled by Argaam, the Shura Council called, in 2020, the General Authority for Foreign Trade to coordinate with the relevant government agencies and the private sector to accelerate the preparation of an integrated national strategy for foreign trade, while working to develop it continuously in a way that contributes to the development of commercial relations to serve the interests of the Kingdom.
