Zoujaj chairman Riadh Al Humaidan resigns

The National Company for Glass Industries’ (Zoujaj) board of directors accepted on March 16, 2021, the resignation of its chairman, Riadh Bin Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Humaidan, submitted on March 15 for health reasons, the company said in a bourse filing.

 

The resignation will be effective from today, March 17, 2021, the statement added.

 

The company’s board assigned the chairman’s duties to the vice chairman, Bandar bin Abdulrahman Al-Zamil, until the appointment of a new chairman.

 

The board also ratified the appointment of Othman bin Riadh Al Humaidan as a non-executive board member to complete the remainder of the current term.

 

Othman Al Humaidan has a bachelor's degree in financial management from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (2004). He worked at Naeem Investment Company from 2004 to 2006 as a financial analyst. He also worked at Al-Hayat Pharmacies Group from 2006 to 2010 as an investment manager. He currently holds the position of Investment Manager in Abraj Al Hayat Contracting.

 

The appointment is pending the approval of the upcoming general meeting, the statement noted.
