Saudi Arabia’s Transport General Authority said that all workers in the public transport sector, trains and bus drivers are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by May 13, 2021.
The move aims to protect public health and curb the pandemic outbreak.
In case of non-compliance, unvaccinated employees are required to provide a negative PCR test every seven days at the authority’s expense, it added on its Twitter account.
