Wafa Insurance shareholders to vote on appointing 2 board members on April 26

Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Wafa Insurance) shareholders will vote on appointing Abdulwahab Ahmed Abed as an independent board member, effective as of Oct. 18, 2020, until the end of the current board term on Jan.18, 2023, during the ordinary general assembly meeting slated on April 26, 2021.

 

Abed will also be appointed as head of the audit committee, as of March 30, 2021, until the end of the current term on Jan. 18, 2023.

 

Shareholders will also vote on appointing Hassan Mohamed Al Amri as an independent board member, effective as of October 18, 2020, until the end of the current board term on Jan. 18, 2023.

 

They will also approve the payment of board's renumeration at a total value of SAR 1.1 million for 2020.

Shareholders will vote on agenda items as of April 22, 2021, through Tadawulaty services.
