Tadawul discloses listed firms' shareholdings under staff share schemes

The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) published its quarterly report on listed firms’ holdings in their own shares in Q1 2021.

 

 The report disclosed the ownership of 20 companies in their own stocks under employee share schemes and for other purposes at 264.66 million shares, a decrease of 8.52 million shares, compared to Q4 2020.

 

Listed companies usually retain a percentage of their own stock under employee share schemes and for other purposes.

 

The firms that held the biggest share of their stock were Saudi Investment Bank (SAIB) retaining 9.99% of its shares, followed with United Electronics Co. (eXtra) holding 4.13%.
