Minister of Human Resource and Social Development (HRSD), Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Human Resource and Social Development (HRSD), Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, issued three decisions to localize a group of activities and professions in the labor market, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The first decision included limiting work to Saudis in all activities and professions in closed commercial malls and their management offices, with the exception of a limited number of activities and professions in these malls.

The second decision is related to increasing localization rates in restaurants and café outlets according to the terms, percentages, and requirements specified in the procedural guide issued with the decision.

The third decision focused on boosting the nationalization rates in major central supply market outlets in accordance with the definitions, professions, ratios, phases, and requirements specified in the procedural guide issued with the decision.

The ministry expected that these decisions to contribute to providing 51,000 jobs for Saudis.

The commercial entities must commit to the above-mentioned decisions to avoid applying penalties against violators.

The statement indicated that business owners can view the procedural guide for these decisions through the ministry's website.
