Saudi Arabia establishes 786 educational buildings at SAR 8.7 bln in past 2 years

The Ministry of Education announced the construction of 786 educational buildings across Saudi Arabia at the cost of SAR 8.7 billion over the past two years, with a capacity of more than 464,000 students.

 

“A total of 452 stalled projects, which were awarded to Tatweer Building Co., were completed, while 11,100 student classes were renovated,” the ministry said in a statement.

 

These projects are aimed at boosting the student capacity, rehabilitating the educational buildings, establishing new classes and accelerating the construction of the stalled projects.
