Saudi Arabia records 842 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 842 COVID-19 cases today, April 12, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 399,277, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 706, raising the total number of recovered cases to 384,027 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 8,485, of which 950 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 11 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,765.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 365, followed by Makkah (150), Eastern Province (147), Asir (34), Hail (32) and Madinah (27).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 59,793 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 15.88 million.

 

More than 6.34 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
