Amiantit to start e-voting on EGM agenda on April 22

Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. will start on April 22, 2021, the electronic voting on the agenda items of its extraordinary general assembly meeting (EGM) that will be held on April 26, according to a bourse filing.

The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system in line with the government’s efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus.

Earlier, the company invited the shareholders to vote on amending bylaws and updating the governance policy during the EGM, Argaam reported.
