Jabal Omar Development Co.'s shareholders approved electing board members for the upcoming three-year term starting June 30, 2021, during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on April 22, according to a bourse statement.
The elected members are Abdulaziz Alrajhi, Mohammed Abu Melha, Ahmad Al Qasabi, Yasser Alkadi, Saeed Alghamdi, Rayan Alrasheed, Mohanned Al Rasheed, Thalib Al Shamarani, and Abdulraouf Mannaa.
Shareholders also approved appointing Ahmed Alqahtani as an independent board member, starting from the date of his appointment on Nov. 24, 2020, until the end of the current board term, succeeding Abdulrahman Al-Rawwaf.
In addition, shareholders approved the business and contracts concluded between the company and Tawuniya Insurance Co., in which board member Waleed Aleisa has an indirect interest. Accordingly, Tawuniya will provide health insurance services to Jabal Omar's employees for one year, starting from Nov. 7, 2020, at a total value of SAR 4.2 million.
