Saudi Arabia destroys explosive-laden boat off Yanbu in Red Sea

Saudi Arabia destroyed an explosive-laden boat in the Red Sea near the refinery hub of Yanbu today, April 27, 2021, at 6:40 am, SPA reported, citing Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, the Ministry of Defense spokesperson.

 

The vessel was remotely controlled and spotted off Yanbu, the ministry said, adding that investigations are ongoing to find out more details about those responsible for the hostile attempt.

 

Saudi Arabia will implement strict measures against any hostile attempts to target national capabilities and economic facilities, Al-Maliki said.
