Saudi Arabia records 1,062 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,062 COVID-19 cases today, April 28, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 415,281, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 867, raising the total number of recovered cases to 398,454 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,935.

 

Active cases totaled 99,892 , of which 1,298 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 458, followed by Makkah (231), Eastern Province (136), Asir (50) and Madinah (41).

 

The Kingdom conducted 66,185 new tests, bringing up the total number to 16.77 million.

 

More than 8.78 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
