Allianz SF names Anuj Agarwal as new CEO

Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Co. (Allianz SF) approved on April 27, 2021, the appointment of Anuj Agarwal as the chief executive officer (CEO) in place of Andreas Brunner, effective May 1, 2021.

 

The board of directors received the non-objection letter from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) on Feb. 17, 2021, the insurer said in a statement today, April 28, 2021.

 

Agarwal has held several top positions since joining Allianz Group in 1997, where he worked as a member of the board and chief financial officer (CFO) for Allianz Egypt in 2009 and Allianz Indonesia in 2012. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a Masters of Management Studies.
