Major Chinese investors are in talks to buy a stake in Saudi Aramco, Reuters reported, citing unnamed sources with knowledge of the matter.

Sovereign wealth fund, China Investment Corporation (CIC), was among those that could invest, the sources said, adding Saudi Aramco is also in talks with Chinese national oil companies

On April 27, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said talks are ongoing to sell 1% of Saudi Aramco to a foreign investor, which will help the company boost its business and sales in the country where the foreign company operates, Argaam reported.
