Saudi Arabia records 1,048 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,048 COVID-19 cases today, May 1, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to418,411, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 964, raising the total number of recovered cases to 401,544 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 9,899, of which 1,333 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 11 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,968.

 

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 379, followed by Makkah (277), Eastern Province (141), Asir (46) and Madinah (41).
