The Capital Market Authority (CMA) invited today, May 4, 2021 the shareholders of National Agricultural Marketing Co. (Thimar) to attend an ordinary general assembly meeting, which will be held on May 9, according to the bourse statement.
Shareholders will look into the company’s failure to meet auditor's requirements and facilitate audit works for Q3 2019, as well as the board of directors’ failure to approve the Q3 2019 financial statements.
The CMA earlier said that the previous OGM, scheduled for April 11, 2021, was not held based on the authority granted to CMA in sub-paragraph (d) of Paragraph 2 of Article 90 of the Companies Law.
The OGM was cancelled due to the lack of quorum for the first meeting as the attendance rate was 28.8%, Argaam reported.
