Saudi Arabia records 1,213 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,213 COVID-19 cases today, May 19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 436,239, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 910, raising the total number of recovered cases to 420,671 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 8,367, of which 1,372 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,201.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 349, followed by Riyadh (334), Eastern Province (148), Madinah (104), and Asir (74).

 

 Saudi Arabia concluded 88,860 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 18.19 million.

 

More than 12.12 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
