Ministry of Commerce issues 791 commercial registers for GCC, foreign investors in Q1 2021

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce issued 791 commercial registers for GCC and foreign investors in Q1 2021, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

The ministry issued 431 commercial registers for foreign investors, bringing total number of foreign investor registers to 18,050. Meanwhile, 360 registers were issued for GCC investors, bringing the total number to 9,732.

The issued registers covered several business activities, including agriculture, fishing, forests, manufacturing, power generation, water extraction, wholesale and retail business activities and commercial services.
