Saudi Arabia records 1,330 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,330 COVID-19 cases today, May 20, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 437,569, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,055, raising the total number of recovered cases to 421,726 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,214.

 

Active cases totaled 8,629, of which 1,365 cases are critical.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 381, followed by Riyadh (350), Eastern Province (161), Madinah (115) and Asir (77).

 

The Kingdom conducted 93,900 new tests, bringing up the total number to 18.29 million.

 

More than 12.33 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
